Job Title: EBP Applications Functional Analyst
Role Type: 2-year contract
Location: Fortitude Valley, Brisbane

We are currently seeking an EBP Applications Functional Analyst who will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. This position is responsible for understanding business processes and collaborating with stakeholders to design solutions within an Enterprise Billing and Revenue platform to align with organisational objectives. This is a strategic role for a detail-obsessed professional who thrives in a dynamic environment where maintaining system integrity and continuous improvement are paramount.

What You Will Do:
  • Work closely with SMEs and Business Analysts to analyze the needs of the business, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and system capabilities.
  • Act as the liaison between technical teams, business analysts, and SMEs, facilitating clear communication and understanding.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications and technical designs, working with developers and architects to design robust, scalable solutions.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of designs, workflows, and system changes to support ongoing operations and future projects.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to optimise processes and enhance the user experience within the Power Platform ecosystem.

  • Ensure solutions comply with business policies, governance standards, and security requirements.

What You Need to Apply for This Role:
  • Proven experience in a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, or similar role within an enterprise IT environment.
  • Technical experience with Oracle Databases and Stored Procedures (PL/SQL).
  • Experience within Agile/Scrum project environments delivering iterative enhancements.
  • Proven expertise in creating requirements, functional specifications, and design documentation.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
